So here is my good friend Amber marshall. She too has recently discovered the world of West Virginia! Her and her hubby are newly weds from Idaho, so we relate well to the western way of life. Anyways here we are taking a beautiful self portrait of ourselves!

Yeah D.C.

So one of the greatest things about being out here is how close we are to everything! So before a trip to D.C. was a huge vacation (which I never took before) and now it is a short 3 hr. drive! CRAZY!! Well anyways we went for the weekend and had a blast. Here we are hurray!

The Fawcett's in D.C.

So one day as Chris and I and a few of our friends went to a stake activity, to my suprise I saw Bryce Fawcett and his new wife. This was a total shocker! Bryce was in my ward back in Utah, and his sister was one of my best friends! So when Ashley and her fam came to visit him we all met up in D.C. for the day! It was a lot of fun.

Monticello

Here is when my grandparent came out to Virginia in August. I went and met them in Charlottesville Va and we toured Monticello, Thomas Jefferson's home. It was a blast to see them for the day. We also went out to eat and shopping, but it totally sucked to say goodbye! But it was worth the tears to spend the day with them.

For Thanksgiving we went up to Pennsylvania to visit my Step-mom's brother Larry. My Dad's and the whole fam came in as well as Chris's Brother. We went to Philadelphia, NY city, and Hershey PA. It was a blast. Here is Chris and his Brother's in Time Square!
