Life in Appalachian America!

So after a fun filled day enjoying the woods and the beautiful scenery, we came home and started cleaning up. Chris, so thoughtful took out all the trash only to run inside and said "there is a possum in the garbage!" Yes, only out here do you have possum's in your garbage, but unlike some of our neighbors, we did not eat this one!! After Chris tormented it with the broom for a while, we helped it escape to our back yard. This was only after the debate to put it out of the curb and when the garbage men pick it up they would get a surprise (pay back for the problems we have had with getting them to take out trash!! Or for anyone that often comes and rummages through the garbage, huge suprise!! Hee Hee

Now you may have thought the adventure ended there, oh no!! As soon as Chris came back in we heard the mouse in our cupboard!! We can't get rid of them!! Although Chris didn't catch it right away, he finally did today, it was in a box of pasta, he thought that was a neat little trap and he could see it through the window!! Oh we love it here!!
